Cover Shoot - Westchester Mayors

A couple of weeks ago, I photographed the Mayors of White Plains, NY (Thomas Roach), New Rochelle, NY (Noam Bramson), and Yonkers, NY (Mike Spano) at my studio for a cover story in Westchester Magazine titled Power Players.

Editorial group photoshoots are A-Game material. Especially in this case, since all three subjects weren't available at the same time. So, I had to shoot for the edit. I didn't know who will end up on the right, who on the left, and who will be in the middle of the final composite. This means lighting, background, camera position, settings, and camera angle have to be consistent. I had to shoot alternative poses of each subject because we needed options for the final grouping. Plus, the magazine required alternatives for the opener of the story inside. There are a lot of bases that need to be covered for the final image to work.
