How about stage photography for a change. Last weekend I took images at the local dance recitals. Let’s sum it up:  You can’t tell the subjects what to do or ask them to do it again (that’s a hard one for me), no control over lighting, limited space to move around and frame the shot, fast moving subjects and hours of editing (’cause you take as many images as you can and the law of large numbers guarantees at least some success, but it is so detrimental to your editing process). So you better be prepared and know how to set your camera in the dark. To make things really exciting I shot about half of event with a prime lens. I love a challenge!
